Get Ready for Christmas at Penny Black & More challenge blog

I know it's the C word - but you really do need to start and get ready for it. So why not join in our challenge "Get ready for Christmas" over at Penny Black & More where this month we have prizes from these wonderful sponsors:-

Penny Black, Swedish House Crafts, Rare Earth Stamps

For my DT card I have used Penny Black The Wonder 30-040 and Splash of Wonder 4272K. First I stamped the trees and hedgie and used masking fluid over them with a post it circle for the moon. Then I washed over the card with a sparkle pen graduating the colour down the card. Removing the post it and fluid I then coloured the star with a gold sparkle pen and used TH Distress crayons on hedgie. Then I edged the card with a black sharpie and added some mica flakes. Finally I stamped the trees onto the base card before mounting the card onto it.

Please remember stamping must be the focal point of your card and no digis. You don't have to use a PB stamp but if you do you will be eligible for selection for the GDT on the blog.
