LIM #351 Monsters

The challenge for "monsters" over at Less is More this week prompted me to get this fab stamp out from Swedish House Crafts. It's called Lucia Christmas Carol (Luciat├ąget) and it's made by Gummiapan. They are celebrating Santa Lucia which is a traditional Swedish celebration on the 13th of December each year.

I only used part of the stamp on this first card. You can see the full version below. I created a background using sparkle pens and stamped the image once onto the background and then again on a piece of card which I cut around and mounted over the top. Ive coloured the images with promarkers and dual glitter pens. I also used the dual pens for the squiggle lines around the image, this means when the light catches it one way it shows purple and the other blue.

Below is the first version of the card I made but I thought it was maybe not LIM enough. I used the Gummiapan sentiment die which has a fab modern script.

I'm also entering the first card into the Craft stamper blog challenge for anything goes.
