Flower Power at Penny Black & More challenge
Our theme this month on Penny Black & More is "Flower Power".
For my DT card I've used my latest purchase the new "dynamic" stamp. I just had to get this as it is a poppy. Hard to find in the UK, but luckily one of our Sponsors this month Crafts U Love did it on a special order for me. They are really friendly and helpful.
I stamped the poppy head several times and clear embossed, then I dragged fired brick distress oxide ink over the image. I did the same with two sets of leaves and cut them all out. Then I used the stamp for the leaves on the background circle, and one poppy head in the centre. I coloured the leaves with a little diluted distress oxide.
I stamped my base card with the poppy head in the corners. Then I layered up my card. Adding some silver and white highlighting to the poppy heads. Finally I add a Phill Martin scribbled sentiment die.
Don't forget we have as usual fab prizes on offer. Our sponsors this month are Penny Black, Marianne Designs and Crafts U Love.
