Something new at Penny Black & More challenge

Time for our first challenge over at Penny Black & More and it's "something new". You may not have got new stash but it could be a new technique which is what I have done for my DT card.

I used my new distress oxide ink pads and coloured the embossed image using a little water too. I used a sparkly gold powder for embossing the flowers, which looks lovely in real life but hard to photograph. Here's a close up of the detail and you can see the verdigris embossing powder I used for the leaves.

I cut a square of card and randomly stamped off the card the petal stamp then filled in with the leaf stamp.  I used PB petal power and for the sentiments the sprinkles and smiles set stamped in Clair versafine black ink and archival watering can ink.

Thanks so much for looking and we hope to see you over at the challenge blog where you will find my teamies and their "something new" projects. Also as usual all our lovely prizes on offer from our sponsors this month who are
Penny Black and Swedish House Crafts
and a prize of a Tonic die donated Ruth Hamilton who designs for Tonic
