Vintage Love - part 1

I set out to design a card for the CD Sunday challenge which this time is for Vintage Love. I've ended up with four cards - so I am going make two posts.

For this first post I used Opulent CDrom from MCS. I started with the floral frame and then added the word LOVE in the centre. It looked a little bare so I added a few red flowers around the inside of the frame and over the "O". I also added a little "blur" frame to the black part of the frame.

I printed it and edged it with one of the duo pens that is black/red depending on how the light shines and then added a squiggle too. By this time I felt I had gone too far with it. So.......

When I came to print out the design I had not altered my settings and so the print quality wasn't as good as I would have liked, so I had this second copy to use.

This time I added a wink of stella to the flowers so that the colour intensified a little and mounted onto black card, then I distressed the edges.
