Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes

I wasn't sure what to do for the Allsorts challenge this week of Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes when I remembered this Graphic 45 pad for The Wizard of Oz. I love working with G45 and so it all came together very easily.

I used my go press foil machine to make the sentiment. I like the way that you can still see the paper design through the wording - when it catches the light it looks like this below.

I just added a little gilding wax here and there. I thought it needed a finishing touch so I cut out a pair of ruby slippers to go at the bottom.

Thanks for looking and if anyone remembers my Art Deco purse I made. 

My MIL loved it and apparently she used to wear her hat like that, so no confusion over one eye after all!
