Feature a Creature at Penny Black & More challenge

Our challenge at Penny Black & More this month is to "Feature a Creature".

For my DT card I decided to use the fox from the Smile All Day set but for a change I combined him with another Penny Black Stamp On the Lake which is where the trees have come from.

I first very carefully only inked the edges of the On the Lake Stamp and using my MISTI stamped it a few times. I then coloured the sky with sparkle pens diluted with water.

Then I stamped the fox and butterfly coloured them with distress crayons. Then stamped the image again onto my background this time with the grasses. I cut out the fox and mounted him over the stamped image.

Finally adding a sentiment and mounting onto white card and then onto black card.
