The Big Apple

This card has been inspired by the current CAS mix up challenge and this is my entry. Although there is a lot going on the over all look I hope remains CAS.

After my success with a shaker card the other day, I wanted to do another one! I also thought the black and silver sequins went with the theme of this card.

I began by stamping a cityscape stamp from The Ton onto the acetate. I have wanted this stamp set and another one for ages, but the shipping to the UK was as much as the stamps ouch! I was having a look on ebay and couldn't believe my luck when someone was selling the sets and unused too - bargain!

I then constructed the card with foam - which is in my tutorial here. I have a non crafting friend who gave me the background paper of apples, I have no idea where she got it from (there is also tomatoes!) but I thought it fitted perfectly with my scene.

Finishing touches are the diecuts from Tonic and some sequins. The sentiment is by Gummiapan from Swedish House Crafts.

I'm also entering this into this month's Craft Stamper Magazine challenge for "anything goes".
