Art Deco at CD Sunday challenge


When I saw the new challenge at CD Sunday was Art Deco I knew I would be making several cards! However, although I have been busy crafting,  because I am still recovering from my op and behind on other DT work this is the first chance I have had to share one of the cards I've made.

I used MCS Deco Follies for the elements on this card. Looking at it now you probably think I just printed it straight off the cd - but it is actually made up of the following scaled down components
  • Two separate figures which I placed together
  • a tiled floor
  • a car
  • pillared background
  • CRM style frame
  • art deco corner colourised to match the dress
  • birthday text
I'm pleased with how it came together and as I say I do have a couple more which I will be sharing soon.

I realised that this fits the "Brideshead Revisited" challenge at The Library Challenge so entering there too.

Beautiful Linby! I use Craft Artist to design scenes but I wouldn't have known this was composed by you - it looks seamless! Well done on a stunning card.
