More Art Deco

As promised here is another entry for the CD Sunday challenge of Art Deco.

I was really just playing with all the elements from MCS Deco Follies cdrom on this one. I had already imported the main image from Debbi Moore Art Deco London CDrom and wasn't sure how I wanted to use it.

I printed it out and then used a Tattered Lace Art Deco paper pad for the background. I cut it out using a TL die as a guide - but the die itself was too narrow for my image, so I drew around it down one side, moved it along and did the same and cut out by hand.

I got out my Tonic Art Deco die set and was going to put corners at the top when I realised it had no mirror image! I did use half of another one of the dies at the bottom of the card twice. To balance up the design I finished with some sequins.

Another great Art Deco card Linby. Good to see you managed a work around so that you had the final look you were looking for. Depending on the machine and die you are using you can 'extend' the width/length of a die. Just run it through your machine half way, reverse out, turn the whole lot around and run it through half way again. It's a trick I use a lot, especially with squares/rectangles that perhaps aren't the right size for my design.
