Breakfast at Tiffany's

When I saw the book for the current Library Challenge was Breakfast at Tiffany's I was rearing to go.  But then I got bogged down in what to use. There are national collections for plants and I think I may have the national collection of "New York"/fashionista items!

Finally I settled on the Audrey with quote from Stamping Bella, part of a Penny Black stamp for 5th Avenue and the books are from The Ton. If you look closely you will see there's even a copy of the book!

I read this book many years ago and found it to be dark compared to the film. I've also seen a stage adaption too which focused more on the book portrayal. I decided to keep it light and just go with the iconic images from the movie.

As I have stamped the images I am entering into the Stamping Sensations Challenge also which is "anything goes" this month.

Am playing catch up Lyn so forgive me if I don't comment on everything that's been posted in the last few days.
Loving this Audrey image. One of my all time faves and it looks fab here on this card!
A fabulous and very stylish card Lynn. The stamps all work really well together and I really like the colours that you’ve used too. Thank you for sharing this with us at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x
GORGEOUS, so elegant, love the colour combo.

I'm laughing about your comment about the national collection! But seriously, everything is perfect about this card - the combination of images, the colours - love how she's standing on the books - so stylish. I've also read the book and , although I've never seen the film, I agree that it must be somewhat 'darker' from what I've heard. Thanks for joining The Library.
