Trees at Twofer card challenge

The new challenge over at Twofer card challenge is "Trees".

I've used a Sheena Douglass tree stamp for both my cards. For the first one I used Versafine Clair ink in claret to stamp the tree a couple of times. Then I went over the middle tree with oxide inks in shades of green. I sponged colour around them to create a scene and cut out with an old paper die from Swedish House Crafts. I thought the Sheena stamp sentiment went well with "Get Well Soon" which I used from another stamp set.

For my second card I used sparkle pens and spritzed the stamp before using it. I again sponged around the tree and then cut out and put a faux stitched line and glitter pen line around the image.

Love the effect you've achieved with the stamping of those trees. Love the die cut edge of the first card and the faux stitching on the second x
Both are wonderful, love the colours you used in both. Gorgeous cards.

Both of your cards are beautiful, Linby! It's wonderful to see it in a grove of trees looking strong and hardy - perfect to wish someone well! The detailed stamp lends itself well to the spritz technique and looks gorgeous with the variation of colors! Thanks for joining in on the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

That tree is wonderful and both of your cards, too! Love how you created a row of trees on the first card with sponging only one to make it stand out. I bet the second one is really sparkly and the spritzing gives it an artsy look!
Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
