I spy with my little eye ...... mid month reminder at Penny Black & More

Just a little reminder of our Penny Black & More challenge which this month is I spy with my little eye something beginning with .... "B".


For my DT card I decided to use a new technique to me which is the "Black out technique" I've used Penny Black soft wings which I embossed in clear powder onto a piece of card that I had applied inks to all over in a random pattern. Then the scary part! I covered the whole piece of card with black waterbased ink, then with a piece of kitchen roll wipe over the piece of card, and the image will be revealed where the resist is.

The colours are beautiful against the black as you can see better in this picture. I then used a TL die in cut from silver mirri and mounted over some mulberry paper.
