mid month reminder for Penny Black & More challenge

I'm here today with a mid month reminder for our challenge at Penny Black & More. This month we have "anything goes" with the optional theme of a tag. If you enter using a tag you go in the draw twice for the fab prizes.

I used a Crafters Companion die for my card which I cut from an ink background I had made. I then used inks to highlight the embossed areas on the tag and the flowers and leaves. The kitty (from PB 30-027 purrfect day set) I embossed and then faux bleached adding white using a TH distress pen. 

The Penny Black sentiment is a great one I think 2969K A hug is - it seemed to fit this tag perfectly, then I just added some butterflies from a PB critter set.

Finally I traced around the outside of the die and made a shaped card for the tag to sit upon.
