Stars - Twofer challenge

These cards are my entry for the Twofer challenge where the theme this time is stars.

My first card is using a stamp I really love, but this is the first time I thought to emboss it in gold. I love the way it turned out I add the stars from the waste of the sentiment die and also from a star set by Crafters companion.

Using the same die set I cut out two stars, one in holographic paper which I have had for so long, but seems perfect for this card. The sentiments are from a clearly besotted set and a heartfelt creations set.

Wow ...what a great stamp on your first card and it is so striking in the gold. Love how you used the star die cut on both of your wonderful cards x.

Oh, my goodness, each card is amazing in it's own way! I love the gold on black for your Christmas card. That city stamp is absolutely fabulous! And the holographic paper for the star on your second card is so cool! Perfect use for it. I'm so glad you played along with us at Twofer!

I'm loving the skyline embossed in gold on black, Lynn, and I'll be trying that with my cityscape stamps! The golden die cut sediment and stars make it a festive Christmas card! And I love your CASlicious second design with the hugely impactful hologram star! Nothing more is needed and good for you to finally cut into that paper!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #13! Hugs, Darnell

That gold embossed cityscape looks amazing beneath your starry sky. This makes a great Christmas card; it has the softness of a Christmas Eve night. Very pretty. And I do love your very CAS second card. That holographic paper looks like you've got a diamond in the center of your star! Absolutely fabulous. Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
