True Colours

I just love stamps that feature New York and so I had to have this one by Carabelle studios. It's a large stamp and for it's first outing I stamped it out and wondered what to do with it.

When I saw the challenge at Stamping Sensations for True Colours I decided as NY is such a vibrant city a lot of colour would be perfect. For a change I decided to drip and blow with a straw the water colours down the image.

I made a base from the some coloured card and then simply mounted the image, which I had roughed up the edges of. A die cut sentiment in the same colour as the base card finished it off.

A fabulous design Lynn and I love how you've used your colours. It looks so artistic and quite dramatic too. Thank you for joining us in our 'Show Your True Colours' challenge at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x

Great thinking outside the box with the location Lynn and you are quite right about NY. Love the runny inky background and of course perfect for our June theme at Stamping Sensations challenge, so pleased you joined us.
