#539 Allsorts challenge - Boys to men

Tracy has chosen the theme of Boys to Men this week at Allsorts challenge.

For my DT card I used one of my newest Penny Black stamps - I couldn't wait to buy a couple of the new release and this is the first chance I have had to ink one up.

I have a collection of backgrounds I make and save and this one was made with watercolours. I was pleased I managed to get the colours in the right places for the image. I then used some TH distress crayons to colour the boats and the shore line.

I used the offcuts to mount the image onto after I had edged with a black pen. I then added a couple of freehand lines to frame the whole thing.
