October - Pretty in Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness month) at Penny Black & More

Our theme this month at Penny Black & More challenge is - Pretty in Pink (as it is Breast Cancer Awareness month).

For my DT card I used a card blank that was already decorated with a pink pattern to frame my stamped image. The stamp is an old one called Whispers and I decided to paper piece it using some pink flowered paper. I then went over it with a pink promarker.

Finally I added a banner sentiment using a sentiment from a Penny Black stamp set.

This month we are usual sponsored by Penny Black and have prizes from them on offer. We also have a $10 Lost Coast voucher and this stamp from Visible Image...............

It's a very pretty card base Lynn and you have coordinated the focal image perfectly with the base pattern.

One of my all time favourite stamps, great paper piecing and like you have I sometimes have to go over the PP with a coloured pen to give it more depth. Lovely border too.

What a lovely card, Lynn. The paper pieced flower is gorgeous and I love how you framed it with the oval.
