CD Sunday plus challenge #22

The new challenge at CD Sunday plus #22 is for anything goes but to use a Debbi Moore CDrom if you have one - I do have a few!

One of the DT had used some poppies and as you know I do like poppies and it turns out I didn't have the same one but instead I used DM cdrom Shabby Chic Victorian Botanical. Unfortunately I remembered why I hadn't used any of the cdroms for a while as it took me ages to get it to print. There is a workaround but I also had to download internet explorer and use as a browser. So, after all that effort I made two cards.

I used MCS software and added to the backing paper the poppy image, placing behind it a little red mat. I then put the poppy banner over to look like it was holding the image in place. Then I took some of the backing paper and enlarged it so that it was less busy and imposed the text onto it. Again using a little red mat behind it.

The second card is nearly identical except I matted it onto some real life DP and then added a die cut sentiment. The wording is faux letterpress and I used some cosmic shimmer paints to highlight the words and poppies.
