Week 571/72 Birthday week - Anything goes at Allsorts

We had been planning a special fortnight at Allsorts challenge with lots of prizes to celebrate our 11th Birthday. However, given the current Global situation we really feel that isn't appropriate plus posting prizes off at the moment is not practically possible. So we are saving the prizes for now and hope to do something special later in the year when the World situation improves.

In the meantime we hope you will join in with out simple theme of..........

********Anything Goes********

As a two week challenge was already in our schedule we are sticking with that and the challenge will run until Friday 22nd May. And instead of a Top 5, it will be a Top 10 and there may even be some 'special mentions' of any entries that really pop out at us.

For my DT card I used a stamp called succulent from Altenew. It's a very large stamp and so I made it part of the focal point of the card. I stamped it over a background I had made with inks and watercolour.

Then I embossed over with a sentiment stamp from CC. Then to mount it I used another background I had created and cut a frame using CE Noble square die. Then a couple of butterflies from the background and overstamped with a tiny Lavina stamp. Punched using a Martha Stewart punch.

Such a lovely joyful sentiment Lynn and I love that you've stamped it onto that lively celebratory background. Very sensible to put the Allsorts celebrations on hold until everyone can enjoy them. Take care, Vicky x
