Week 575 - Summer Sunshine (yellow mainly)

Wendy has chosen the theme at Allsorts challenge this week of Summer Sunshine - the main colour should be yellow.

For my DT card I inked through a homemade die cut square stencil from mirri card to help the ink slide. Then I used a Penny Black stamp with my Misti, stamping several times using different shades of yellow and green.

A little offcut of gingham card and a sentiment are the finishing touches.

It's a beautiful sunny card Lynn and you have totally changed my mind about that PB stamp. It's one I've had since it came out and only used a couple of time as never been quite sure about it, but here it looks stunning.

I love this card Lynn! From the gingham border and tone-on-tone die cut sentiment, to the focal image itself - it's all stunning and looks as if it has been painted. Vicky x

What a wonderful creation, the technique is awesome and how brilliant to use mirror card for your own stencils, I have to remember that :)
