Trees at Twofer challenge

I always try to enter the Twofer challenge but some months I just don't seem to be able to come up with two of anything let alone the unconventional card! Or I miss the date. But this month I've made it on all counts!!!

I have a lot of tree stamps so thought I would be ok for an entry this time. Then yesterday when I was making my Lavinia card I came across this tree stamp and it really made me think of someones flowing hair. Maybe lockdown hair with dark roots lol!

So I stamped the tree and then drew a face to go with it. I doodles some dots around the card and on the face. The sentiment is from Visible Image and this card is for one of those "just because" occasions.

My second card uses the tree conventionally. I used DI's to create a background with a little water splattering to faux bleach. I used a piece of black card to mount and cut a window for the sentiment. Final touch are some leaves die cut from the same background.

OMGosh, you are the clever gal! I love both of your Twofer cards, so creative! The "hair" is amazing on this gal, your drawing is amazing too. I love how this came out. Your other twofer is equally beautiful, looks like the branches are flowing in the wind. Love that background you have it on and I love the sentiment. How true is that?! Great job at being so creative with this challenge! Hugs, Brenda
WOW! Lynn, these are such clever thinking, Great results.

I wondered how you got the face stamp to fit so well with the tree "hair." Then I read your post...You Drew That??!! Wow is all I can say. I can do a fair stick person, but that's about it. I'm fully amazed and very impressed by your first card. Wow. And your conventional use of the tree is equally impressive. The background you've created is gorgeous, and I love the sentiments. This makes a perfect birthday card. Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Bev

This twofer is very clever, well done. I have exactly the same problem with the twofer challenge. I always want to enter but often get stumped and by the time I have an idea I have missed the deadline! You have definitely cracked it this month. I just love the face one, so clever and absolutely brilliant drawing. Love that background on your second card too xx

I saw you got special mention but i am bowled over by the unique way you used this tree. You are quite the artist to capture an elegant lady and draw her . Love this tree and the colours of the first card.
