A Dressmakers Christmas and a wreath

A little reminder of the challenges at We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge and Stamping Sensations.

For my We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge DT card and the theme of Christmas I have used Chocolate Baroque stamps The Sewing RoomHaberdashery and Doodle Butterfly. Hopefully I have created a "dressmakers Christmas!".

I created an inked background with faux bleaching and then stamped, embossed and cut around the dress form and butterfly for the wings and did the same with the flowers. I created another inky background and stamp and embossed the scissors for trees. The sentiment is handwritten with some white ink for snow. Final touches to the background using watercolour inks and gold pen.

My other reminder for today is the challenge at Stamping Sensations. The theme is Garlands, Wreaths and Christmas flowers. I have created a wreath using Penny Black stamp. The sentiment, snowflake die and stamp are from an old Creative Expressions magazine.

Your "dressmakers Christmas" is so unique and creative, Linby! Great work of Art!
The garland of blue snowflakes in the second card really pops out from the kraft base!

Two really super creations , great images, colours and backgrounds. Like your idea of not using green and red for your wreath card, makes a really pleasant change.
