Anything goes and Things with Wings

Two DT makes to share with you today. The first is for the We Love Chocolate Baroque Challenge where our theme this month is "Anything Goes".

I used a stamp from the Artists baubles stamp set for my card. I created a background by blending DI's and faux bleaching. I then stamped and embossed the image cutting both the outer and inner mats with complementary dies. Using a little offcut I made the sentiment using a sentiment from the Amazing Mackintosh Words set.

As usual our lucky challenge winner will be able to select an A4 stamp sheet or stamps to the same value from.................Chocolate Baroque a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton.

My second DT card is for Stamping Sensations challenge where we want to see "Anything with Wings". I'm in the process of making new artwork for a set of connected frames I have. I changed a colour scheme and so wanted to reflect the new yellow and grey theme of the room. This is one of the frames and you will see another one mid month!

I took a piece of patterned paper and embossed a Woodware Bee collage stamp over the top. I then coloured parts of it with CE yellow watercolour with mica. I stamped the wings again onto vellum and placed this over the stamped and embossed image. I had a piece of acetate with the black outline on it, so I cut that to frame the image adding a few very tiny die cut flowers from the same background paper over the top.

Our winner this month will receive these lovely crafting items from our sponsor Craft Stash

Fabulous cards, great stamps;-))m
Two lovely inspirations and I like so much the muted blue/green shades in the first one, they are so dreaming!

Love the blues and greens on your CB creation, that stamp set is a new one to me, so there must be a few I still don't have.

And your bright and yellow Honey Bee card is lovely on a foggy frosty day.
