A Room With A View

I've really enjoyed making this card which came together from items I have collected over the years and the recent addition of the Paper Discovery embossing folder which I knew would complement items I already had. I embossed a piece of grey card and then lightly applied Distress inks.

The current challenge at The Library challenge is the book A Room With A View. I have interpreted it literally I know!

I used a Penny Black stamp for the view of Italy through the window, which is where the book is set. I used a TL die for the lady looking out to the view. the sentiment is from Pinksy Doodles designed by Brenda from Floral Fantasies.

The chair is part of a stamp set I have had for a good few years, and I wondered if it would ever make it onto a card - but here it is, I fussy cut it out. the window shutters are from CComp and the lamp and shade are from Paper Discovery die set.

WOW! Lynn this is so elegant and what a room with a view, so many wonderful details, make this quite unique.

What a stylish chic lady in her hot pink outfit Lynn and I believe I spot Venice through the Window, she looks like a lady of means so perhaps at the Cipriani. Oh for a trip there again.
