A Winter's Night

 

This is my entry into the current Lavinia challenge. The theme is A Winter's Night.

I made the background my blended DI inks and using black soot around the edges. I then used one of the Lavinia stencils over the top. Next I did the stamping and added shadow with a white gel pen.

I used a combination of a Lavinia stamp and the white pen for the "snow" falling. I really love this new sentiment stamp from Lavinia it's a beautiful verse and a lovely font.
