Katya and flower fields

The new challenges at We Love Chocolate Baroque and Stamping Sensations challenge begin today.

My first DT card is for the We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge where we want to see Feminine makes.  My card uses the Katya stamp which I just love. I embossed her in gold powder onto a piece of wood effect paper. (I had in mind a panel from a Russian triptych.) I coloured the image with watercolours. The sentiment is from Words to Dazzle and Sparkle

Lesley from Chocolate Baroque will be on Hochanda tomorrow 4th January with a One Day Special featuring brand new stamps, the first show is at 6pm GMT with more shows throughout Tuesday.

For the Stamping Sensations challenge  we want to see your favourite stamps. One of my favourites is this Stampendous stamp called flower fields. I stamped and embossed the image in ivory powder and then used the resist technique with the CE mica watercolour inks. It's very sparkly in real life! The sentiment is from the Chocolate Baroque stamp set Amazing Mackintosh words.

Our winner this month will receive these delightful Penny Black stamps from our sponsor.

Penny Black invite you to explore their creative world and see for yourself why their rubber stamps, stickers, beautiful papers for scrapbooking, cardmaking and stamp crafting are everyone’s favourites. Their products are designed to integrate style and colour for creating the best handicraft projects ever.

The gold embossing on your CB card looks fabulous, it is a beautiful image and I love the bright zingy colours with the resist stamping on the SS card, makes me think spring is just around the corner.

Quick reply chick - comments for the Grand Draw don't have to be on the day itself. I'm allowing a week and you're in the draw for the Uniko sentiments set no problem! My real problem is all the books I'm buying and also loving on your recommendation!

Hugs
