Silhouettes

The current challenge at Country View challenge is "silhouettes".

I made a background using watercolours on a piece of watercolour card. I then used some Lisa Horton flower stamps back when she was with CE and a new sentiment stamp from a set by Penny Black.

Mounted onto black card and a greeting added from an old Apple Blossom stamp set.

Just sharing some photos from the weekend when I discovered robins building a nest in the cordyline right outside the window. Pity they rested on the wheelie bins - not so photogenic lol!

I only used my camera phone and took them through the glass, so quite pleased with how they turned out. There was a moment when they both sat together and shared something between them, but I was too slow to capture it.

Love your background colours on this card Lynn, it gives a real WOW to the silhouette. Love the photos of the robin. How lovley to have them building a nest so close, you'll be able to watch the babies grow.

I'm running very late this week so just popping in for quick hello and peek, great creation as always Lynn.

The birdies are all very busy here as well. One of the Pigeon pairs decided they might like to nest in the shrub ivy on one of the arbours just outside the dining room window so hopeful we might get a good look at the babies. And the Canada Geese are back on the top pond along with their squawking at dawn and dusk.
