April Rudolph Day

I do love a robin! I bought this paper pack featuring robins a few years ago and decided it was time to use some of it up. I like using this Woodware robin stamp as it is just perfect for paper piecing, and so that's what I did, using papers from the same pack.

I liked it so much I did it again, but this time in a much more CAS way.

I'm entering into Mo's Rudolph Challenge over on her blog at Scraps of Life by Scrappymo!

I love how you used the paper on the robin Lynn, both cards are so beautiful.
Congratulations on your win at Pixie's Playground.

Same when it comes to Robins Lynn, such cheery little thinks and love both of your creation here, if I had to choose which I know I don's, but the first just edges it for me.

I love how you've given your robin bird such different looks Lynn! Even though I'm a bit of a CAS girl, I love the effect of the paper pieced card as well as the bold CAS version. Vicky x
What a wonderful card and gorgeous papers Linby. Thanks for joining the fun at Rudolph Days this month.

I love this and the paper piecing worked so well. I like the colours in your paper pack. I used to have a robin pad but it had a lot of green holly in it. Isn't it surprising how a small change makes a very different card. I like them both. Kate x

These are both so pretty! I like each of the designs...as you say, one is a lot more detailed in the piecing but I like the look of both of them!

Thanks for taking part in the Rudolph Days Challenge.

What a pretty pair of cards you made! I just love the color combo and wonderful papers on the first design! The CAS design has a little touch of home-spun goodness with the cross stitching that stands out against the plain background! NJ on both!
