Die cut snippets

My starting point for these cards was a gelli print. I decided to use the TH die to cut out from it and then saw that the waste (snippets) would make a nice card too. I used special kitchen film to pick up the pieces from the die (although some escaped!) and then transferred to another piece and then applied glue before placing onto the card.

(Edited to say the kitchen film is called Press N Seal, regular cling film will not work.)

The other card was of course much easier, I just added a sentiment.

I'm entering the first card into Di's snippet challenge in the Playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Two super creations, great colours and a lovely stamp. I have not the slightest idea why but I am getting comments that people have left you. They come via e-mail. I have no idea why this has started but it was yesterday and today.

Brilliant twofer and your Gelly print looks amazing!!
Love when nothing is waste :D and I always put the pieces of this TH die (I too have it)in a tiny plastic envelope to use them later, they are so pretty. I have never heard about Press N Seal, now I will search it, as it seems useful for tiny pieces, thanks for sharing the tip.

Gorgeous card Lynn! So I'm not the only one who has Glad Press 'n Seal to hand, great stuff isn't it and so perfect for setting those piece on your card. And yup, I did buy the dog walking book needless to say. Am currently working my way through the Driving over Lemons series again, by Chris Stewart but hope to read it right after I finish the series.

Just realised about you double transferring the snippets using Press 'n Seal - doing it that way had completely eluded me - clever sausage!
