Sunshine twofer

I've created these two cards for the current Twofer challenge of Sunshine. Ours seems to have disappeared today!

My inspiration came from our holiday last week and the sunrise I captured. You can see it here in this post. I also used one of the photos as my backdrop above. I cut out the cards in MCS digitally and superimposed them onto the photo.

I hadn't intended for this to be an Easter card. I knew I wanted a sunrise through a window and when this window die was the best fit it then it spoke Easter to me.

I've used the same Clarity stencil and a little sun die on both cards.

For my twofer I went with a hello card. I used a Lisa Horton frame set. I never thought I would use it like this as I prefer things to be more uniform, but the quirkiness seemed to fit the subject better. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

The sunshine definitely shines out of these 2 cards, great twofer. I am currently trying to come up with an entry this month but it is not working so think it might get abandoned! xx

Wow, Linby, what a stunning sunset photo and I think it's cool how you superimposed your cards over it. Pure magic to me! Both your cards are fantastic! I can see why your gorgeous arched design spoke Easter to you; it's perfect for an Easter card. And I'm loving the whimsy of your hello card! Great choice of the primary colors, too! Thank you for playing in TCC #39! Hugs, Darnell
Stunning cards Lynn.

We've had more than our 'fair share' of sunshiny days here in SE Wisconsin. Hot, sunny, and no rain! Your sunny cards put a smile on my face. You're right about the quirkiness of those little frames on your slimline card - they fit the bill perfectly! And your Easter card is serene and so lovely. Two wonderful cards! Thank you so much for sharing your cards with us at The Twofer Challenge. Bev
