Christmas Roses , a Poppy and a Hare!

A bumper post from me today, as I have the mid month reminder for Stamping Sensations challenge and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge and my DT card for our latest Allsorts challenge.

My first card for We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge and the theme of Anything Goes with an option of  Celebrations uses Hark the Christmas Rose. I blended DI blueprint onto the card around the image, leaving the roses white with no colouring. I then used DI inks in shades of green with water for the leaves.

My second card for Stamping Sensations challenge and the theme of  Stamp of the Moment. Well it is a Poppy so it is a fave stamp of mine all year round really. It's from Penny Black but not had an outing recently. I used DIs watered down to colour. For the background I used a resist embossing just the head of the poppy and then using shades of green to colour. I used a TL die to mount and a Phill Martin corner sentiment stamp.

Last but not least my card for this weeks Allsorts challenge hosted by Brenda who has chosen the theme of  - Any "real" animal or creature. I used my small circular gelli plate to create the background by applying DI inks to the plate and spraying with water. I used Crafty Individuals stamps to create the scene and watered down DIs to colour. Finally a  Lisa Horton Wordage strip sentiment to finish. Stamp Addicts are our sponsor with a £15 store voucher for the winner.

Hope you made it to the end of this mammoth post lol!

Three real beauties today Lynn, the white blooms really pop left uncoloured, the Poppies of course totally appeal and that Hare is rather special isn't he.

The WLCB card looks so happy and cheerful with that white and green! Love the poppy on the second one, great how you used it for the background! The last card looks so cute and whimsical and the gelli plate background looks so sweet!

Goodness me you have been kept busy! 3 very different and gorgeous cards, scrolling down each one drew an exclamation as it came into view. I'm a big poppy fan so that one was clearly going to be a "winner" then the hare and that fabulous background you created love that. The Chocolate Baroque card with the flower and script is so serene and lovely I do like their range of Christmas flora and script stamps. xoxo

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my Under the Sea Birthday card that I entered at Allsorts. You mentioned you would love to receive it in the post so if you wouldn't mind, please email me your mailing address and I will get it right to you :)

This card is stunning. It's such a lovely Christmas idea to use the roses with the music in the background!
