Stamp of the moment and love birds

This is a combined post for my DT work at Stamping Sensations challenge and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge.

At Stamping Sensations challenge the theme is "Stamp of the Moment". I may only have just got this stamp but it has been a favourite of mine for many years. I finally gave in and bought it - despite it being a little expensive! It's from Carabelle Studio. So this is my Stamp of the Moment.

I made a background using DI inks and the edge of a curved stencil. I then stamped over the top and coloured with promarkers. The frame is part of the Altenew grid die, I cut away the inner parts to make a frame.

Our Prize this month is from Crafting.co.uk. a mixed media clock making kit and Rice papers.

The theme at We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge. this month is Anything goes with an option of  "celebrations". I created a stencilled background and then used the Chocolate Baroque Nouveau Lovebirds over the top.

Our sponsor as always is Chocolate Baroque stamps

The frame works really well with the Mackintosh style Roses Lynn as does the subtle stencil work behind the Nouveau Lovebirds.

Love the SS card Lynn, the Mackintosh style roses look stunning in that frame, and the stencilled background works so well with the lovely CB image.

Both pieces are fabulous, for style and elegance you can not go wrong with a bit of Mac can you. Easy to see why the first stamp became a must have it is beautiful and you have really shown it off with that brilliant background and frame. Your WLCB sample is just as eye-catching a wonderful way to showcase one of their fabulous stamps. xx
Two fabulous Art Nouveau pieces Lynn, love both so much! The black grid works so well with the roses and LOVE the stencilled background for the CB piece, such warm feel!!!

Hi Lynn,
Marvellous creations, I love the image on the first, it's definitely you, and the die cutting and background is fabulous. Another fabulous background on your second card, not seen the image before but makes a great anniversary card.
Happy crafting

Lynn these are both so elegant, the pop of red from the Rennie Mackintosh style tall flowers to the stylish stencil background with that magnificent stamp bird detail. Both extremely beautiful, thank you for sharing.
