Double emboss

I've finally got around to making my entry for the current challenge at Let's Squash It to double emboss. On the challenge blog there are a few techniques to try and I went with using two embossing folders.

I've had this preloved typist EF for ages and spent far longer tracking it down. But I've never used it! It says memo at the top which I cut off and then there is a lot of space, which I have now filled with another cuttlebug EF thanks to this challenge.

I also tracked down more recently the October Afternoon stamps that complement the typist folder. I thought the RUSH stamp indicated something being late so I used a lawn fawn stamp to make this a belated birthday/any occasion card.

I used a TH typewriter stamp across the top stamped in blueprint DI. I also brushed the same colour over the embossed card together with some Peacock feathers DI.

Finally, I remembered I had these unused tab dies and thought they fitted the theme together with the paper clip and pin from a CC die set.

As I have used two unused items I am also entering into this months NBUS challenge.

You've combined all your elements expertly Lynn! I particularly like the typist image and those tab dies are a lovely touch.
You asked me about the Passiflora stamp set I used recently - it's from Uniko and I'm delighted with it, having had my eye on it for a while now. There are coordinating dies too. Hope that helps! Vicky x

What a gorgeous result. The typist is a fun folder. I went through a phase of collecting scene folders. Would definitely have added her to my collection if I'd seen her. Gorgeous card. Thanks for joining the fun at Let's Squash It!! Hugz
