A winter fairy and a simple bloom

I'm here today with my DT cards for two challenges We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. As it is December we are going with Anything goes with the option of CAS at We Love Stamping and You select the theme and Stamp it!  at Stamping Sensations.

My first card for Stamping Sensations uses Lavinia stamps and for a change I decided to stamp directly onto a piece of DP. I used a black sharpie around the edges and lightly stencilled onto the background card.

Our prize this month from Stix 2 (mount foam, foil, glitter and various glues and tapes).

My card for We Love Stamping uses a woodware stamp which I coloured with glitter pens. I then mounted onto gold card and added a little sentiment I had left over from a kit.

Our prize this month is from Stix2 Ultimate Adhesive kit plus few extras and a die from Craft Stash.

Love the magical scene you have built up with the Lavinia images Lynn, using the DP for stamping adds interest without overtaking the focal elements. By comparison the second card is so elegant (have that stamp in the new prize box).

Such wonderful cards, love especially the first one with those Lavinia stamps! The background looks so magical and sweet, such amazing colours! Stamping on that DP has been a brilliant idea, all is mixed up so beautifully!!
Love the inspiration for WLS too, the gold frame makes it so festive!
Sorry for my absence, hope to catch up around as soon as I can
Hugs!

What a different, interesting and effective card your Stamping Sensations card is. Your "experiment" with direct stamping on DP is very effective. You know how much I love the Woodware stamps with those playful circles so it will not surprise you that I love this card. Fabulous pieces xoxo

Both are so beautiful, Lynn. But my favorite one is the Lavinia card. I think the DP is so effective here and a perfect backdrop for the fairy scene. And I am loving that sentiment. Is that a Lavinia one? I may have to get my hands on it!

Both gorgeous Lynn, but I have to say the first with the stencilling on the background together with the dp, makes for a perfect background for the lovely stamp. Love your second, such pretty colours.
