Countryside Christmas - Rudolph Day

It's Rudolph time over on Mo's blog. I've made a few cards this month spurred on by a blog visit.

First of all I have to thank Karin for the inspiration for these cards in her post here. I didn't have the same die she used, but I realised I could use this technique to disguise snippets and use a paper pad that I have found challenging to use after my initial makes with it. I used two different (old) CE expressions die sets. Thanks so much Karin for the idea.

I made a few cards with this idea as you can see below.

Although at first glance this looks like a whole sheet of the paper it is in fact many different pieces all hidden by the die.

As this used a lot of snippets disguised behind the windows I am off to the Snippets Playground to show everyone. I'm feeling super happy at having put to good use so many snippets.

What a brilliant and clever way to use your snippets, as you say, it really does look like one piece of paper behind the frames. Great die too, sometimes the old ones are the best ones xx
Oooohhh.... How many amazing cards, Lynn! Love so much this technique you learned from Karin, really useful for those scraps from "busy" paper pads!!! Brilliant and so effective! I think I will try this! And LOVE the paper pad pieces you used, those animals are very realistic, sweet and cute! Very well done!
Hugs
Fabulous cards Lynn and that die is superb, you've used it to perfection x

Oh my word Lynn! I almost threw out a similar (frame) die the other day as I felt it was pretty restrictive - you really opened my eye to lots of possibilities with your beautiful cards. Gorgeous results too!
