In the Garden

Our theme this week at Allsorts challenge is "In the Garden". It seemed appropriate to use this Joanna Sheen Daffodil die as daffodils are in the garden at the moment.

I used a base die that is a fave of Brenda's and I can see why. It's from Studio Light and cuts beautifully and comes with the lovely shaped dies to layer with too. I cut out from a "washable" the poem, which just fitted on! I used a Lavinia stencil over the top to tone down the white background. Finally I added a tiny butterfly which is in my stash, but I have no idea who it is made by. It could have been from one of the advent calendars in past years by TL or CC.

Two super prizes this week of Card-io stamp sets from First Stop Stationers

I was so pleased you managed to get that die Lynn as it really is so pretty and looks lovely on your Spring card with Wordsworth's lovely words central.

Aha! Another lovely shaped card in the Allsorts DT today. Love this one too Lynn. I might have to go and find that die - particularly as it has the corresponding layers for the base shape. Love those cheerful daffs as well.

Happy Saturday! xxx
