Westie Love

This week at Allsorts challenge Lolo has chosen the theme of "allsorts of animals".

I've chosen this Westie stamp - I am actually also x-stitching this same image - it's only taken me 3 years so far, but I will get it finished lol. I used pencils to just add some shading to the image and colour the coat. The sentiment stamp is pre loved and I just had to rescue it. The die is my new Memory Box sentiment die that I just love. I added a tiny stamped "happy". The background paper is from an old TL magazine.

Fab sentiment for the Westie card. LOVE this and would be brilliant for a dog lover (or anyone really!). Good luck with finishing the cross stitch off! xxx

I know that feeling when cross stitch projects go on forever, but it is so satisfying when they finally get finished. I hope you will share it with us. This is a great card for a dog lover and what a brilliant sentiment xx

Beautifully done Lynn, love the monochromatic design and the Westie is adorable! Good luck with your cross stitching too, I recently found an almost finished piece that I worked on about 20 years ago LOL (it was a large picture type) but how sad that I never finished it!

Adorable monochrome card Lynn, love the little Westie with his plaid cloth and the sage sentiment :)

A beautiful dog image and card Lynn, the sentiment has a ring of truth to it too, animals have a great sense of who to trust.
