cubed background

It's Lorraine's turn to host Allsorts challenge this week. You've got the option of Anything goes - or optional create your own background. This challenge will run for 2 weeks as we usually do over the summer.

I had this three part stencil from CC unused, and I was keen to see what I could do with it, so I've gone with the create your own background option. I've also used my new fave sentiment die (again!) which I cut twice and layered up, and this time added a few little butterflies.

Our prize this week is a £15 store voucher courtesy of WOWVOW.

WOWVOW grew from a love of card making and a history of making wedding invitations. What a beautiful and unique stencil, Lynn. Makes such a wonderful artistic birthday card! It's like an optical illusion, I want to keep staring at it! Love it!

A fabulous colour palette Lynn, I rather suspected you had used a layering stencil and it's so effective. Just happens I received one of these for my Birthday (thank you) and got to have a proper play this week and really like the results. I found after trying out one colour combo there's a need to go again and try another.
