Hydrangea and a fairy

These are the two cards for the mid month reminder for the DTs I am on at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations.

My first card is for the theme In my Garden at We Love Stamping. I love hydrangeas and have quite the collection of stamps. This is an old wooden one that hasn't had an airing for a while so I thought I would use it with some very old DPs. I used a JND corner die around the image and some gilding wax. The sentiment which fitted nicely onto the printed paper border is from a set by Lisa Horton.

My second card is for the Anything stamped with option of  Make it Magical at Stamping Sensations challenge.

I designed my background in the procreate app on the ipad. I even replicated some faux bleaching! Then I used a traditional fairy stamp and sentiment stamps over the top. Finishing touch some glitter bitz from CE.

Two beautiful cards Lynn. Love the vintage look of the first one .. so I spot some old LotV DP’s? lovely! I’m intrigued by your background design on the fairy card .. I have not heard of this methodology but it has worked beautifully xx
Beautiful hydrangea card, a bit shabby I think, love the decorative corners and the sweet papers! Lovely colouring as well.
The fairy silhouette looks so beautiful on the delicate background!!
Hugs, have a lovely day!
More gorgeous work from you Lynn, these are both beautiful cards.

I love hydrangeas too and I have been admiring this on on the admin blog. That’s a great background too. I am very impressed that you did that on procreate. I wish I could get the hang of digital creations xx

Love the vintage feel to your hydrangea card, so pretty with the punched corners.
That's such a pretty background, (hadn't heard of this app before - will check it out) She's a beautiful fairy and I love the sentiment you've used.
