A colourful dog

 

This week at Allsorts, Mervi has chosen the theme of  "Four legged friends - real domestic animals" or you can go with an anything goes option if you prefer.

I've used this Crafty Individuals stamp for the 4 legged option. It was an extra in my order so you won't find it on their website.

I decided to use a gelli print I had made with a small rectangle plate and stamp and emboss directly onto it. By chance I was looking through a Papercraft Society box and noticed this diagonal paper which I felt toned nicely with the ink colours. I also had sitting on my desk a messed up die cut from a card the other day, where the die had moved and it didn't cut the bottom corner. For a little added interest I put a thin strip of green card behind each of the elements and added a paw print stamp to the sentiment.
