Dino and greeting snippets

If you saw my card yesterday you will recognise this paper. I had hastily ripped it from the magazine and sometimes, this happens - a ragged edge. I trimmed it for the card yesterday and was going to trim this when I thought it suited a boy dinosaur card!

I've used the same circles but smaller and this time the dinosaurs are die cut from a few snippets of backgrounds I had make with various inks. So a ragged snippet and some inky snippets means I am off to the Snippets Playground.

I'm also sharing these snippets - all stamped with greetings.

This is an idea I saw Jennifer McGuire do - but she used whole sheets. I now have no white snippets but lots of greetings that rarely get used already for cards as I just go for the same old same old.

Brilliant card Lynn - love that you kept the torn edge as it was. And a terrific tip for using up a load of white snippets to stamp a selection of sentiments - nice one!

Thanks for sharing two dinosaur cards. That is great paper and I shall look forward to seeing all those sentiments on cards over the next few months xx
Well done leaving that ragged edge as it was, Lynn! It looks so interesting, as well the off the edge circles! Another great card for a boy, the diecut dinosaurs and those on the paper are so fun!
I used some of my white snippets for ready-to-go stamped sentiments too, I keep them on a box for future uses :)

Another fab dinosaur card Lynn, love the ripped edge and off the edge circles. Good work stamping sentiments on your snippets … I have loads of stamp sets which include sentiments that I forget I even have and so don’t use, so I real,y should try this!

Another super dinosaur card and leaving the torn edge was certainly a great idea. That pile of sentiments should come in handy and keep you going for a while.

Another FAB dinosaur crd Lynn - well done for using up some magazine paper and leaving the raggedy edge which adds interest to the card.

What a GREAT tip to use up white snippets (the ones I have the most of!). I shall have to remember that one!

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. Once you’ve finished playing on the swings, meet me and Di up in the Treehouse for a nice mug of hot chocolate! xxx
