By the quayside and in the garden

Another month, another challenge at both We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. These are my DT cards and the details are below.

My first card is for Stamping Sensations where as always the focal point must be stamped and you can use anything you like with the option of using a stencil. I've blended ink over linen card and then to create a quayside feel used an animal stencil from Clarity stamps. The houses and the sun are both Clarity stamps.

Our two prizes this month are mixed media bundle from Oakwood Direct and two stencils

My second card is for We Love Stamping where again stamping must be the focal point, but you can use any stamp with the optional theme of "in the garden".

I have used a Lavinia stamp with an old rain stamp. Lightly coloured with DIs. Mounted onto a preprinted base card. I fortunately don't need this card at present, but the images once stamped put me in mind as being suitable for a sympathy card.

Our prize this month is from Craft Stash Lisa Horton Viola embossing fold, die and stencil collection

Always like the effect of linen card and real thinking outside the box for the cobbled quay. Your second card has a really peaceful feel and perfect for purpose.

Both cards are fabulous- love the texture the linen card gives the first one, the stencil work is beautiful, so effective. Beautiful stamp and stamping on the second and lovely soft colours, perfect for a sympathy card.
So pleased to be a Guest designer for We Love Stamping this month, it's an honour.

Great cards Lynn, love the look of the linen card and the stencilled quayside stencilling looks fab. The dandelion with raindrops and soft colouring does make a lovely sympathy card.
