Stencilled die cut

I just had to try out this technique of stencilling combined with a die by Ann Melvin. I bought this die from Ann especially to make these cards as none of my own dies seemed to quite fit the bill. Although I am going to have another go with some of them.

I used the die again for this card below, this time with a three part stencil.

I'm popping over to Stencil Fun challenge to enter the first card. I was delighted to be chosen in the top 3 last month for this card.

Great technique Lynn and so effective, I spent ages the other week searching for dies that will cut into card as these do but ended up with nothing. Is there a specific name for this style?

Not always easy to find the right image/die combination for this layering technique (seems to involve some retail therapy 🙄), but you've managed it with these great cards.
What a pretty die and card Lynn, lovely stencilling too.
