Little wings

I've made this card from some unused die cuts, little birds from a kit and a pack of mandalas that I bought years ago and never used. The mandalas sit on my desk for inspiration and finally they made it to a card!

I'm quite pleased how this came together and I stencilled some dots in the background to carry on the theme. I added a little nuvo drop for eyes for the birds as they looked strange to me otherwise. Now, although you can't see the wings as such I am entering this into Ellie's I spy with my little eye challenge for "something with wings".

It seems we're both using up items which linger on the desk - just has to be done sometimes doesn't it 😉😉. Great mandala card

Well done for finally using that mandal and I love how you have used it. It works so well with those papers and little birds. Great idea to stencil those dots on the base too xx
Great work with your mandala Lynn, such fabulous card! Love the whole design and colours, and that stencil on the white panel matches perfectly the topper!

This turned out absoutley beautifully, Lynn. I love the design and the stenciled dots finish it off so nicely. You really inspire me to use up more of my previously die cut pieces, I have so many of them and somehow rarely reach for them.
So great to see you playing along at I spy with my little eye, too! Thank you!!
