Christmas presents snippets

After I made my birthday presents card the other day I had a suggestion that it would be a good Christmas card. The nearest Christmas background I have is this Woodware stamp. I decided on a grungy look for a male and then added an airmail border.

Here are my snippets. I keep my coloured mirri card snippets in an album, the gold and silver in a drawer as there are so many!

It was fairly quick to make this card apart from the final parcel which I mislaid. It must have taken me 20mins plus to find! But I wasn't going to cut another one lol!

I'm off to the Snippets Playground to play for fun. I do hope they are looking to upgrade the treehouse after seeing the one I stayed in last week!

I'm also entering into the Inkspirational challenge for Christmas in July.

A great snippets card. Love what you said about taking a long time searching for a 'lost' die cut. I've done that sort of thing so often when to cut another one would have actually been quicker 🤣🤣. Quite likely as soon as you'd cut a replacement the original 'lost' one would appear as if by magic.

Love the fabulous grungy background and the parcel die cuts are perfect for a Christmas card....isn't it weird how things can disappear from right under your nose and take ages to find when you haven't moved anywhere! If I give in and make another one, no sooner is it stuck down than the original one reappears!

Great card Lynn - again, I think a few of us have Christmas backgrounds with parcels in mind. Love the grungy look of yours. Don't you compare our treehouse with where you stayed - I spotted a photo of it and it didn't have a rope ladder even! No swings either :) Wink.

Yeah . . . but did your treehouse come with a cocktail bar and waitress????????? Hmmmm? *Snigger*

LOVING your grungy Christmas background for the shiny parcels.

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. Meet you up in the Treehouse for some Snowballs (Eggnog) later! Hugs, Sarn xxx
Love the grunge with the shine, a perfect blend Lynn. A Super card.

See you for "Snowballs" at The Playhouse, seems from Sarn's comment, there is a waitress?

Wonderful collage Christmas card. I have been having the added time of looking for the right die cuts too and started the process of labeling them and adding them to my evernote so I can add some tags and find them quicker. I feel this will really help me speed up my crafting.

I do hate it when die cut bits go missing. It happens to me all the time. Love that grungy effect on this one xx
