Rudolph Day July

It's the 25th and so time for Rudolph Day over on Mo's blog here. I've tried to be organised and combined it with the Anything Christmas at Christmas Craft Creations and also as I usef snippets The Snippets Playground. for the Christmas theme there too.

I had been experimenting with alcohol inks onto a specialised silver card and that was as far as it had got. I decided to run it through an embossing folder and see where it took me. A rummage in my Christmas dies and my silver mirri snippet box and I came up with this design. I've purposely used two different silver cards so that the wording stands out. Finally I added a few snowflakes cut from some white snippets.

I think the alcohol inks on silver card is rather pretty, and it was a good ides to emboss it too. The wording certainly pops out for me. A great card. Kate x

Wow! Such fabulous effect you achieved! Love so much the muted brushos colours on silver and the embossing really worked so well to add texture and interest! Fabulous effect of the different silver for the diecuts too! It's a striking card!

Oh you clever little sausage with that gorgeous background. I wonder if the card is Tim's Sparkle card - which I do so love. And then, what a glorious card you ended up with - I love the dies you used!
