Lorraine is hosting the Allsorts challenge this week. Whilst it is Anything goes, she has an optional challenge for us of "add texture". My texture is in the form of the hot foiled stencil in the centre of my journal page.

You may know that I love Charles Rennie Mackintosh and designs inspired by his work. I got to thinking the other day that I make cards and then never have any of the elements to keep. So, I made a journal page. I didn't have any stamps that made really sense for a journal page in his design, but I thought "With love" didn't look too bad and it covers the fact that the paper is too short for the page! It's from a Woodware stamp set of greetings.

To keep with the gold foil theme I then used a couple of Apple Blossom dies cut from gold mirri card all mounted onto a piece of paper from an old pack by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. I think I only bought the papers for this design! But now it's seen light of day you may see makes featuring the other papers.
