Seedheads and a skyline

It's time for my mid-month reminder for my DT challenges of We Love Stamping, where our theme is Anything stamped with the option of  a mood board and at Stamping Sensations and our optional theme of Autumn colours .

The tag above is for Stamping Sensations. I cut a tag from kraft card and then stencilled over it. Next I added an AALL & Create stamp Poppy Seedheads and a little mouse from one of their other sets. I then stamped the seedheads again and paper pieced them so they stood out a little more from the background. I finished it off with some fibres

The card below is for We Love Stamping - inspired by this mood board.

I used Gelli print transfer paper to make a stencilled background. It's actually a stylised rose stencil, but I thought at a glance it looked a little like Van Gogh's Starry Night (in purple!). I then overlaid a trellis die cut. I used a stamp set by The Ton for the focal point of the skyline. I then stamped the greeting and used some watercolour paints splashed over the top.

Prizes at the challenges are from AALL and Create of two lovely Autumnal themed DL stamps and the other a collection of Stamperia Alice products from Craft Stash.
