Colours of winter

It's Sarah's turn to host the challenge at Allsorts this week. She's chosen an optional theme of "Colours of Winter" or you can go with the anything goes option.

For my DT card I literally interpreted the theme as a Winter scene, with the colours of outdoors. This is an image from an old Pollyanna Pickering CDrom. I simply printed out the image and then cut with a pinprick die and then mounted onto some gold card.

I'd love to capture a photo of a Kingfisher one day. I often see the flash of colour but not had one pose for me yet.

Prizes this week come from AALL and Create who still have some fabulous bargains to be had, lots of stamps and stencils are half price or less but you need to be quick as the sale will be over very soon.

I am also entering this card into a challenge that is new to me Creative Fingers challenge where it is anything goes.
Of course as it is Rudolph Day I am also linking up there too.

It's a beautiful winter scene with that stunning kingfisher, the frosty blues and the reeds catching the light from the sun, your lovely clean design showcases it perfectly.

Wonderful card, Lynn. The scene with the kingfisher is beautiful. I've only seen a kingfisher once, as flash of blue flew past. If I had blinked I would have missed it! xx
